Step-By-Step
1. Before guests arrive, obtain a lighter in the middle drawer of the first plastic drawer in the hallway between the kitchen and Dinnerware Closet.
2. Light pillar candles found at the entrance and at the guestbook table, the tealights found in the hutch by the bathrooms, and candles at the bar.
3. During the ceremony, light the candles on each table in the Main Hall, including any candles around the dessert shelves, in lanterns, etc.
4. If lighting taper candles, find a manager to turn off the AC units near those candles to prevent the candles from going out.
5. Once the candles have been lit, return the lighter to is original drawer.
What does “done right” look like?
Candles near the Main Entrance are lit before guests arrive.
Candles at the tables in the Main Hall are lit during the ceremony.
Lighter is returned to its original drawer, or thrown away if it runs out.
Common problems or mistakes?
Do not light candles in the Main Hall too early or else they will burn out quickly.
