What is this task?

Cleaning and resetting Ranger (main floor) and Raptor (loft) Suites once guests have left.

What do you need to do the task?

Bus tub

Broom and dustpan (Cleaning Closet) or small dry mop (storage closet)

Pink "Method" disinfectant spray

Gray cleaning rag

Black garbage bag

Step-By-Step

1. Starting in either suite, bring the cleaning supplies listed above from the Cleaning Closet to the suite, along with a bus tub from the kitchen.

2. Clear any garbage that guests have left- dump beer cans, throw away garbage and leftover food, and dump water pitchers.

3. Place any glasses into the bus tub, along with water pitcher and bring it to the Kitchen to be sent through the dishwasher.

4. If cleaning the Ranger Suite (main floor), bring the rolling cooler to the bar for the bartender to replace any unopened cans back into the fridge.

5. Bring the rolling cooler to the lawn and dump the ice.

6. Return the rolling cooler back to the Ranger Suite.

7. Spray the pink "Method" disinfectant spray on the surface of the sink, faucet, and handles. Let sit to disinfect for at least 5 minutes.

8. Using the broom or small dry mop, sweep the floor and discard any debris in the garbage.

9. Check under couches and in all the lockers for any items that guests may have left behind.

9a.) In the Raptor Suite, check the cubbies next to the getting ready mirrors for guest items. Hangers may be thrown away, but other guest items should be brought back to a table in the Catering Hall.

11. To reset the pillows and cushions, refer to the laminated pictures. In both Suites, these pictures are located on the top shelf of the rightmost locker.

12. Be diligent, observe the photos carefully, and refer to the notes listed with the photos as you reset each suite.

13. Once reset, return the laminated pictures to the lockers.

14. Lock the doors that lead outside by pulling the door handle up and twisting the lock to the left.

15. Wipe down the sinks with a gray cleaning rag.

16. Take out the garbage and replace with a new garbage bag. Bring the garbage bag to the kitchen.

17. In the Ranger Suite, turn off the TV and replace the TV remote onto the circle coffee table.

18. In both Suites, find the white AC remote. Set the AC to 65°F, and replace the AC remote to the right edge of the sink.

19. Turn off the rose gold fans.

20. Turn off the lights.

20a.) In the Ranger Suite, remove the mirror that is leaning against the wall to the left of the sink. Behind this mirror is the breaker. Ensure that breaker #1 (fence lights) and #20 (maple tree lights) are switched OFF. ‼️‼️‼️NOT 100% CONFIDENT THAT THESE ARE THE RIGHT BREAKERS‼️‼️‼️ Close the breaker door and replace the mirror.

20b.) The light switches for the Ranger Suite are found behind the blue lockers. Use the AC remote to reach and turn off the lights if your arm doesn't fit between the wall and the locker. Return the AC remote to the right side of the sink.

21. Collect the garbage bags and any cleaning supplies you used (disinfectant spray, broom, rags, etc.). Return cleaning supplies to the Cleaning Closet and put the garbage in the Kitchen with the others that are to be taken out to the dumpster.

22. Pull the sliding doors closed as you leave.

What does “done right” look like?

All garbage is discarded.

All glasses and unopened cans are brought back to the bar

Laminated photos are used as a guide to reset the couches, pillows, and cushions.

Forgotten guest items are returned to the Catering Hall.

Rolling cooler in Ranger Suite is emptied and replaced.

AC is reset to 65°F and rose gold fans are turned off.

All lights are turned off.

Doors to the outside are locked.

Water pitchers are dumped and returned to the Kitchen to run through the dishwasher.

Floors are swept and mopped if needed.

Sliding doors are closed once Suites are cleaned and reset.

Common problems or mistakes?

If you see bottles of liquor, please notify and return to the Night Manager immediately!
